In updating Granny’s Sewing Room I kept “Granny” in the title but bring your focus to the beautiful “Garden View” from this room. Hydrangeas and roses embellish the Waverly bedding and the fabric inspired the mint wall color change. The print subject also compliments my grandmother’s hurricane lamp featured in the room. The artwork chosen brings me to a simpler time growing up in Manitowoc County with farm fields and wildflowers in abundance whispering “Be Still and Know” to my young girl’s soul.
